Miranda (she/her) is a gentle therapist who focuses on the relationship between the therapist and the child as the primary source of healing. She tailors therapy to the child’s unique needs and makes therapy a safe space for all children to unmask and be their authentic selves. Miranda is a play and narrative based therapist and incorporates mindfulness based therapies (such as ACT) into her sessions. Miranda’s focus is on creating therapy that is neurodiversity affirming and attachment centered. In addition to being a therapist for over 15 years, Miranda supervises associate therapists at Wander and teaches graduate level courses in counseling.

Dr. Millican (she/her) provides child psychological assessments that are gentle and explorative. She takes time to learn the child’s story and how they experience the world with an open and affirming stance. She offers an experience of psychological assessment that is therapeutic in nature, not simply a diagnostic assessment or evaluation. She believes how a child feels during the assessment process is just as important as the result. With over 17 years of clinical experience, Dr. Millican is well versed in supporting clients as both a therapist and an assessor. In addition to her clinical roles, Dr. Millican supervises and mentors associate therapists at Wander.

Aileen (she/her) takes a culturally sensitive and trauma informed approach to working with children. Aileen utilizes IFS (internal family systems therapy), narrative therapy, and play based therapy in her approach. Aileen is trained in SIP (Somatic Integration and Processing) which helps guide her trauma and attachment informed lens in therapy. Aileen has a passion for working with children, pre-teens and teens as well as helping parents navigate supporting their neurodivergent children.

Patty (she/her) has a warm and empathic nature that creates a safe space for therapy. Patty utilizes compassion and mindfulness based approaches alongside play based therapy with children. Patty’s goal is to facilitate a therapeutic relationship where the child can gain an experience of themselves and their identity resulting in increased self esteem, awareness and ability to self advocate. Patty is trained in mindfulness based methods as well as Somatic Integration and Processing (SIP) which she applies to her trauma and attachment based work. Patty has a passion for supporting parents and families around neurodiversity as well as working with neurodivergent children and teens.

Brookelynn (she/her) has a heart forward, compassionate and humanistic approach to child therapy. Brookelynn knows what it feels like to be different and she is deeply passionate about helping children to feel less alone and understood in therapy. Brookelynn uses a variety of modalities in therapy including play-based therapy, mindfulness based methods, neurodiversity affirming DBT and ACT and expressive art therapy. She leans on a relationship based approach where therapy is co-created with herself and the child she is working with, taking the child’s lead.
